Harold

Harold is an adorable, little 8 year-old Min Pin who we rescued from the city shelter. Sadly, he ended up there when his owner past away. Not only did this cute boy lose his home and his human companion, but he also only has three legs! We have no idea how he lost his leg, but it was clearly amputated. Like most three-leggers, Harold get around just fine though. He does have some discomfort from arthritis in his back (most likely a result of only having three legs), but he can do stairs and enjoys going for his walks.

Harold would make a terrific companion for an older person or couple who is familiar with his breed. He likes to be the center of attention and does not take to strangers easily. He is a barker when someone he doesn't know comes to his house and he can be nippy as well. Once he bonds to you, he's a VERY affectionate, sweet guy who LOVES to be cuddled and sit on your lap as much as possible. He also enjoys the company of other dogs, although he definitely thinks he's the dominant one.

We are looking for a very loving home for this little guy where he will be spoiled rotten. He has been neutered, just had a dental done, is up-to-date with his vaccines, on heartworm prevention, and is microchipped.
